Driver Must Focus on Criminal Defense After Deadly 110 Mph Crash

During the holidays, there are unfortunately many car crashes in Georgia that happen as a result of excessive speed. Some of these may be due to alcohol consumption, or some just because groups of people are celebrating with each other in route to an event. A recent article describes how some of these accidents could result in the driver finding it necessary to seek an experienced criminal defense attorney in order to ensure the best legal outcome after a serious accident.

According to authorities, the accident happened on November 5 at around 8:20 p.m. A crash occurred at an intersection that was attributed to a 22-year-old driver. He had allegedly been traveling at speeds of 110 mph before the wreck.

Two people, ages 16 and 59, were killed in the crash. Three other passengers in the vehicle with the driver who was accused of speeding were also injured. At this point, the conditions of the passengers from that car are not known. Currently, the driver of the vehicle is still wanted by police in connection with this accident. Alcohol does not seem to be a factor at this time.

Those in Georgia facing difficult legal situations that include police involvement may feel that there is no way out, but there is still hope to build a solid criminal defense. Most seek counsel from experienced criminal defense attorneys who will be in the best position to guide their clients along the path to building a strong criminal defense. They can also fight to ensure that their clients’ rights are protected during the judicial process.
